Terms of service

Agreement

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. The service is provided by the Feedoback team (“we”). If you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

The service

Feedoback provides an embeddable widget that lets visitors to your site send feedback, comments on elements and screen recordings, and a dashboard where you read and reply to them.

Beta

The service is in beta. It is provided as it is, may change without notice, and has no uptime guarantee. We will do our best to warn you before removing something you rely on.

Fees

The service is free during beta. If we introduce fees, we will tell every account holder by email at least 30 days beforehand, and a free plan will remain available.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your responsibilities

• Install the widget only on sites you own or are authorised to change.
• Tell your visitors that feedback they send is processed by us, where your law requires it, and obtain any consent it requires.
• Do not use the service to collect data you have no right to collect, to harass anyone, or to break the law.
• Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service. If you find a security problem, see the security page.

Your data

Everything you and your visitors put into the service stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store, display and process it in order to run the service for you, and nothing more. We process visitor data on your instructions as set out in the privacy policy.

Ending things

You can delete a project or your account at any time from settings, and the data goes with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during beta is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. Questions go to [email protected].
